DRYCONIC – 30 years of iconic DRYKORN pieces

DRYCONIC – 30 years of iconic DRYKORN pieces

To mark its 30th anniversary, DRYKORN looks back at three decades of brand history with DRYCONIC, a curated capsule collection revisiting six defining styles from the past. Rather than simply reproducing iconic pieces, the collection reinterprets them through contemporary materials, proportions and construction.

What began in 1996 with a single pair of trousers evolved into complete womenswear and menswear collections shaped by precise tailoring. DRYCONIC reflects that evolution while staying true to DRYKORN’s distinctive identity.

Six Signature Pieces, Reimagined

In womenswear, the capsule revisits three signature styles: the super-low-rise bootcut DRYDASH, the slim-fitting DRYCHILI blazer with its distinctive collar, and the fitted military-inspired DRYQUEENS coat, known for its striking back detail.

The menswear selection includes DRYHARDY, a bootcut silhouette that embodied high fashion when first introduced; the sharply tailored DRYGENF jacket; and DRYOXFORD, defined by its precise construction and distinctive collar, which later influenced the brand’s outerwear.

“With DRYCONIC, we are translating selected styles from 30 years of DRYKORN into the present,” says founder and CEO Marco Götz. “It is not about reproducing the past, but evolving iconic designs so they are just as relevant today.”

The Object of Desire

The launch today, on 5th October is accompanied by a cinematic campaign centred around one of the capsule’s key pieces. Set in a Berlin hotel, Lorena Rae Jones follows German modelling icon Nadja Auermann through its corridors and rooms. Only at the end does a change in perspective reveal the true object of desire: the DRYCONIC coat worn by Auermann.

Auermann and Jones are joined by DJ Hell and Lennon Gallagher for the campaign, titled “DRYCONIC – 30 YEARS OF ICONIC DRYKORN PIECES.”

DRYKORN x Breuninger

From 5th October, DRYCONIC will be available online at breuninger.com and at Breuninger stores. From 12 October, the capsule will take over the Breuninger flagship store in Munich, featuring a façade takeover, specially designed windows and a dedicated DRYCONIC pop-up.

The collaboration culminates in a joint DRYKORN x Breuninger launch event on 29 October in Munich, with Nadja Auermann and DJ Hell.
